On the 21st November 2024, Xjenza Malta organised the second edition of the Xjenza Malta Research & Innovation EXPO, showcasing 17 innovative projects spanning seven research areas. These initiatives were supported through Malta’s national FUSION programme and internationalisation schemes.

Among the featured projects was the MED-WET project, represented by the EcoGozo Directorate. At the Expo, the achievements of the MED-WET project were demonstrated through a dedicated stand, which included a project video, prototypes of the SLECI elements, and direct links to the project website.

EcoGozo also actively contributed to a panel discussion titled “Green and Blue Research: Paving Malta’s Path to Sustainability.” The session highlighted key projects, including AMBULANT, BIMA, BLUEBIOCHAIN, PROFIUS, and MED-WET. The discussion opened with introductory videos for each project, followed by a moderated Q&A session where panelists addressed questions from both the moderator and the audience.
