A Human Resources Strategy for Gozo
The Ministry for Gozo is currently developing a human resources strategy, which shall present an analysis of the human resource capabilities, potentials and needs of the Island of Gozo with recommendations and measures to create jobs at various skill levels over a number of years. The strategy aims to reduce unemployment, mobilise inactive persons, as well as retain and attract workers with high qualifications back to Gozo. International case studies of best practice regarding human resource development in regions with similarities to Gozo have been studied. The measures being drawn up shall be backed by a plan for implementation, sequencing and evaluation through performance targets and indicators.
