Training courses for operators in the agri-food industry in Gozo
An intensive course on good agricultural practices and European standards and regulations related to the production of food derived from agricultural products was held in Gozo. This course was aimed for all those producing agricultural products which are subsequently used for the production of wine and other food products, as well as for all those operators involved in the processing of various products in the agri-food industry. These training courses were organised by the Maltese Islands Agri Federation (MIAF), a non Governmental Organisation operating in Gozo for the benefit of the agricultural sector. These courses were financed by the Ministry for Gozo through the eco-Gozo scheme for NGOs.
